The Party is OVER! Yes! It was a success. The house looked beautiful, and the food was fabulous. I have pictures that I will post later tonight. Jared had to work Saturday until 3:00, so I was on my own to put on the finishing touches. Taylor was playing Santa for some friends who own a jewelry store, Amanda had to go to Saturday School, (she had to many absences haha! That is my daughter!) So...I just had Austin and Katie Bell. Really not a great combo. Amanda was home at 12:00 though. She saved me by cleaning Katie Bell's room! Hallelujah! I owe her BIG! BIG! Tracy took the Amanda, Austin and Katie Bell to the movie and dinner, and Taylor stayed with our friends. All went great. I fell into bed at 10:00. I was almost to tired to sleep.
Monday morning, and it is 28 degrees. I am on my first cup of hot chocolate. We will see how many I will down today. It is going to be frigid cold for the next 2 days! Welcome Christmas! I am wearing my green sweater to honor the cold and Christmas today. I thought it added to the spirit of things. Now all we need is a little white stuff....mmmm

I remember when 28 degrees was cold. Today in Bismarck, North Dakota it is 18 BELOW ZERO, with a wind chill of negative 35. Sounds like it's toasty warm in Texas! I can't wait to get to Utah for Christmas and thaw out a bit.
When are you going to Utah? Have a great time! Say hi to your family! And my dad!
